Star Trek spin-off fiction : ウィキペディア英語版 | Star Trek spin-off fiction
The ''Star Trek'' franchise has produced a large number of novels, comic books, video games, and other materials, which are generally considered non-canon. ==The Animated Series== (詳細はNBC aired 22 half-hour episodes of animated adventures of the ''Enterprise'' crew. In addition to reuniting the regular cast of the original series (with the exception of Walter Koenig), it also featured the reappearance of popular guest characters, including Harry Mudd and Cyrano Jones. It has been suggested by fans that these stories took place during the fourth and fifth year of Kirk's original "five-year mission." In later years, at the request of creator Gene Roddenberry, this series was deemed not to be officially recognized as canon by Paramount. Despite this, some elements which originated in the animated series have been used in subsequent stories, most notably the details of Spock's childhood and Vulcan culture revealed in the episode "Yesteryear", which were alluded to in the ''Star Trek: The Next Generation'' episode "Unification", in the ''Star Trek: The Original Series'' remastered episode "Amok Time", and in ''Star Trek: Enterprise''. Also, characters such as Arex and M'Ress have appeared regularly in ''Star Trek'' comics and novels.
